Christ Lutheran Church - reading pa

 On January 15, 2023, Bethany Lutheran Church voted to issue a pastoral call to Pastor Bruce Osterhout for a one year period of time, February 1, 2023 to January 31, 2024.  He will serve God with the people of Bethany for 10 hours a week outside of Sunday worship.  Christ Lutheran Church, Glenside has contracted with Bethany Lutheran Church for 13 hours a week of Pastor Bruce’s time.  Thus the call totals 23 hours per week.  This is a reduction in works hours and will require that he find other income, beginning in February 2023.  He is a Per Diem Wheelchair Van Driver for Tower Direct and will be doing that more beginning in February while he waits for the Spirit’s direction and other opportunities to serve with the congregations of the Reading Lutheran Parish.
